Objective:The purpose of this study was to compare the methods of coping with coronavirus anxiety and the mental health of female athletes aged 30-50 years participating in aerobics and non-athletes in Tehran.
Method:This study was descriptive and causal-comparative. The study's statistical population consisted of all female athletes aged 30 to 50 years in the field of aerobics and non-athletes in Tehran in the year 2021-2022. In this study, 50 female athletes from Tehran's 2nd district were selected through a voluntary sampling, while 50 non-athletic women voluntarily participated. Data were collected using the 12-GHQ Mental Health Scale (Goldberg & Williams, 1988) and the Stress Coping Styles Scale (Endler & Parker, 1990). Data analysis was performed using SPSS24 software, employing multivariate statistical analysis of variance.
Results:The research findings indicate a significant difference in coping styles between athlete and non-athlete females. Specifically, the score for problem-oriented coping style in female athletes was higher than non-athletes (P<0.05). The score for emotion-oriented coping style was also higher in female athletes compared to non-athletic women (P<0.05). However, the score for avoidance coping style in female athletes was lower than in non-athletic women (P<0.05). Regarding mental health, the average score for mental health in female aerobics participants was lower than that in non-athletes (P<0.05). A lower score in mental health is considered indicative of better mental health. Therefore, it can be concluded that female athletes have better mental health compared to non-athletic females.
Conclusion:The study's results suggest that female athletes and non-athletes have different coping styles when dealing with coronavirus anxiety. Female athletes tend to employ problem-oriented and emotion-oriented coping styles more frequently, while non-athletes are inclined toward avoidance coping styles. Furthermore, female athletes demonstrate better mental health than their non-athletic counterparts.

Divorce is one of the most major stressors in life and has potentially negative consequences for mental and physical health. So, One’s ability to cope with divorce breeds in more general health. the focus of studies is more concentrated on the effects of divorce on children and women, while the consequences of this phenomenon on men are regrettably neglected. research showed that divorced men are at highly significant risk for early death based on the cumulative number of years that men lived as divorcees. hypertension is mainly known as a consequence of distress among divorced men. A limited number of heterogeneous researches have concentrated on the experience of divorce in men. However, they are heading for more negative consequences. to eliminate these shortcomings, the Scoping review method will be used for running an exploratory study on the current heterogeneous literature and It will be useful for future research.

Objective: One of the basic human needs that plays a vital role in sustainable development is mental health. In the digital age, Internet addiction is a threat to mental health. So this study aimed at validating the treatment entry questionnaire for Tehran University students in 2019.
Method: Participants were 324 undergraduate and postgraduate students of public universities in Tehran, who were selected through one-step cluster random sampling. All participants completed the Urbanoski and Wild’s (2012) Treatment Entry Questionnaire, the Miler and Tonigan (1996) Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale, and the Young Internet Addiction Questionnaire.
Results: Data were analyzed using the confirmatory factor analysis model. Confirmatory factor analysis of the data showed that the three-factor structure of the identified, intrinsic, and extrinsic treatment motivation has a good fit, and the validity of the scale was confirmed by face and content validity. Convergent validity evidence confirmed the positive relationship between identified, intrinsic, and extrinsic treatment motivation with subscales of recognition, taking the step, and ambivalence of the Readiness for Change and Treatment Motivation scale. Cronbach's alpha test was used to assess the reliability of the whole scale (0.95) and each subscale of identified motivation (0.94), intrinsic motivation (0.89), and extrinsic motivation (0.86).
Conclusion: The results showed that the Persian version of the treatment entry scale for the student population has acceptable psychometric properties and can be used as a valid tool in psychological research.

Objective: While previous research studies primarily focused on younger populations, this study compared the relationship between Instagram use and the mental health of both young and older women who were quarantined because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: Data were collected using Google Form from March 1 to May 5, 2020. A total of 389 women from Mashhad City in Iran participated in the study and completed a questionnaire regarding their daily Instagram usage and a General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28).
Results: Older users’ daily Instagram use was not significantly different from that of younger users [t (382) = 0.98, p = 0.33]. Furthermore, results indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between daily Instagram use and young users’ mental health levels [r (352) = 0.23, p=0.00]. Finally, there was no significant correlation between daily Instagram use and old users’ mental health levels [r (28) = -0.20, p = 0.28].
Conclusion: The findings advance an understanding of Instagram use among younger and older adults and highlight the correlation between Instagram use and mental health. The results can inform future technological interventions that are designed to help younger and older adults who may have better access to social benefits via SNS platforms, particularly in specific circumstances, such as those brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective: Considering the possible role of psychological factors in the process of cardiovascular disease and also the fact that these factors interact with biological agents to produce effects on cardiovascular disease, the present study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on mental health, hopefulness and meaningfulness in people with cardiovascular disease.
Method: The present study was a semi-experimental research with pre-test, post-test and control group. The study population included all cardiovascular patients who were referred to Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center in January to March 2017, and had a history of myocardial infarction or open heart surgery in the last month. Among them, 30 patients were selected to participate in the study. The subjects were randomly assigned into the experimental and control groups. Data were obtained using Snyder Hope Questionnaire, Meaning-seeking Questionnaire, and General Health Questionnaire, which were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA and SPSS 22.
Results: The results indicate that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of acceptance and commitment therapy and control group on physical symptoms (F=355.21, P<0.0001), anxiety (F=183.51, P<0.0001), social functional dysfunction (F=77.42, P<0.0001), depression (F=233.32, P<0.0001), hopefulness (F=28.59, P<0.0001) and meaningfulness (F=134.92, P<0.0001) in people with cardiovascular disease.
Conclusion: In acceptance and commitment therapy, accepting the psychological inflexibility and avoiding the acceptance of annoying feelings and thoughts, leads to the strengthening of these feelings and their further thoughts. In this approach, patients are helped to focus on the present time and identifying their values instead of living in the past and future, and to act in accordance with their values and goals, even in spite of existing annoying thoughts and feelings.

Background:The aim of this research was to study the role of emotion failures and social well-being in predicting violence against women. Materials and Methods:This research was descriptive and correlational. The population under study was all women applicants for divorce in Ardabil city in 2016 from among whom 106 were selected by available sampling method. Tools of data collection were the scale of violence against women, and questionnaires of alexithymia and social well-being. Data analysis was done through Pearson correlation and Multiple Linear regression. Results:The results indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between alexithymia and violence against women (P<0/05). Moreover, there was a significant negative relationship between social well-being and violence against women (P<0/05). The results of regression analysis showed that 64 percent of the variance of violence against women was significantly explained by emotion failures and social well-being variables. Conclusions:According to the findings it can be concluded that the recognition of emotions at the individual level as well as the identification and description of emotions and awareness of emotions can be effective in improving couples' relationships and reducing family violence. Besides, contributing ourselves in the family and society and accepting the community and its members with its weaknesses and strengths and having effective relations with close people and supporting people leads to a reduction in violence against women.
